⚰️ Vzpomínky na Lisbonovy sestry se vznášejí nad ospalým michiganským předměstím jako krásná, opojná a dusivá mlha. Místní kluci tráví dlouhé hodiny sledováním života nedostižných dívek. Za pečlivě zataženými závěsy domu Lisbonových se odehrává tragédie, o které nemají mladí pozorovatelé ani tušení. Přísní katoličtí rodiče se své dcery snaží za každou cenu uchránit před vnějším světem. Zlom nastává, když středoškolský idol Trip (Josh Hartnett) pozve na ples nejodvážnější z dívek, Lux (Kirsten Dunst). Od toho okamžiku se sny o svobodě začínají pomalu, ale neúprosně měnit v noční můru.
